A Letter from Hamilton Chrysler's President

My Automotive experience began in 1947, when I was hired by a local new car agency to sweep the shop floors. I worked in that dealership for the next 25 years, learning the business by working in every department in varying capacities. As a salesperson, I discovered that I had a talent for understanding the customer's wants and a knack for satisfying their automotive needs. To me it was obvious; treat them, as I would want to be treated. I listened to the customer, found out what was uniquely important to them, and matched them with the vehicle that best fit their requirements. My eventual promotion to General Manager gave me the opportunity to share my Philosophy with the entire dealership staff. I recognized that customer service is just as important during a service contract. In 1972, I realized that a long-term goal when I bought Hamilton Chrysler-Plymouth. With the Chrysler products, convenient location, and expanding demographics, I knew that we would be successful. Over the years, we have undergone many facility transformations, but have always adherned to the basic tenet of "treating the customer right". We have assembled a Five Star staff that knows that customer satisfaction is the key to our company's success.
